Suplementasi Vitamin D3 dalam Ransum terhadap Saluran Reproduksi dan Folikel Kuning Telur Ayam Lohmann Brown Umur 36–39 Minggu
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi suplementasi vitamin D3 dalam pakan terhadap saluran reproduksi dan folikel kuning telur ayam Lohmann Brown umur 36–39 minggu. Desain percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri atas 3 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan, masing-masing ulangan terdiri atas 10 ekor ayam. Perlakuan yang digunakan adalah: P0 = ransum tanpa suplementasi vitamin D3 (kontrol), P1 = ransum dengan suplementasi vitamin D3 1,0 kg ton-1, P2 = ransum dengan suplementasi vitamin D3 1,5 kg ton-1. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam (ANOVA), dan jika ada hasil yang signifikan (P<0,05), diuji lebih lanjut dengan uji Tukey. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian suplemen vitamin D3 signifikan (P<0,05) berpengaruh pada panjang uterus dan bobot folikel kuning telur, tetapi perlakuan pakan tidak berpengaruh pada peubah lainnya. Simpulan penelitian adalah suplementasi vitamin D3 hingga 1,5 kg ton-1 tidak memengaruhi panjang dan bobot saluran reproduksi ayam petelur serta jumlah dan folikel kuning telur, namun meningkatkan panjang uterus serta bobot folikel kuning telur. This research aimed to evaluate supplementation vitamin D3 in the diet with different treatments on the reproductive tract and egg yolk follicles of Lohmann Brown hens aged 36–39 weeks. The experimental design used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 3 treatments and 5 replications, each replication consisting of 10 chickens. The treatment diets used in this study were: P0 = diet without vitamin D3 supplementation (control), P1 = diet supplemented with vitamin D3 supplementation 1.0 kg ton-1, P2 = diet supplemented with vitamin D3 supplementation 1.5 kg ton-1. The research data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA), and if there were significant results (P<0.05), they were further tested with Tukey's test. The results showed that the administration of vitamin D3 supplementation was significant (P<0.05) had an effect on uterus length and yolk follicle weight, but feed treatment had no effect on other variables. The conclusion of this study is administration of vitamin D3 supplementation up to 1.5 kg ton-1 does not affect the length and weight of the reproductive tract of laying hens and the number of egg yolk follicles, but it increases the length of the uterus and weight of egg yolk follicles.
