      Abstract

This study was conducted in a mining company that had to terminate the operations of one of its subsidiaries. The termination led to an increased workload for employees, which could potentially decrease organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of perceived organizational support (POS) on OCB with organizational commitment as a mediating variable. A quantitative approach was applied by distributing questionnaires to 75 employees. The data were analyzed using SEM-PLS, and the results show that POS significantly influences OCB, both directly and through organizational commitment. These findings highlight the importance of organizational support and commitment in fostering voluntary behavior in the workplace, enabling employees to adapt to new conditions.
