      Abstract

The increase in the number of investors in Indonesia in recent years demonstrates the high public interest in the capital market, particularly in investing. However, this phenomenon has not been fully accompanied by good investment decisions. This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy, social media, and risk tolerance on investment decisions in the capital market. The research method used is a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) analysis techniques. Data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents with investment experience. The results show that financial literacy, social media, and risk tolerance have a positive and significant influence on investment decisions. This research model is able to explain 60,6% of the variation in respondents' investment decisions. These findings indicate that increased financial understanding, wise use of information from social media, and the suitability of individual risk profiles contribute to the quality of investment decisions in the capital market.
