      Abstract

The adoption remains limited, potentially reducing product quality and competitiveness. This study aims to determine the level of GAP adoption, identify adoption factors, and assess farmers’ knowledge of GAP guidelines. The research employed a qualitative and quantitative approach through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, involving 33 farmer group members and 2 key informants. The results indicate that GAP adoption is at a medium level, with varying implementation in seed selection, fertilization, pest management, and post-harvest handling. Supporting factors include farming experience, education, land size, and access to information. Farmers’ knowledge is still at a moderate level, indicating the need for capacity building through training. The adoption of GAP has been proven to improve crop quality, support farm sustainability, and open opportunities in modern and export markets.
