      Abstract

BPOM MD certification is an important instrument in ensuring food quality and safety in Indonesia, especially for Small, Medium Enterprises that produce high-risk foods. This study aims to identify the level of compliance with Good Processed Food Manufacturing Practices (CPPOB) requirements and readiness for BPOM MD certification among MSMEs XYZ, as well as to assess their maturity level using a maturity model approach. The methods used include a GMP checklist with a scoring system (0 = not implemented, 1 = implemented but not consistently, 2 = consistently implemented, TB = not applicable), which is then converted into an A–D rating, as well as measuring the maturity level based on 25 GMP aspects in accordance with BPOM Regulation No. HK 02.02.1.2.01.22.63 of 2022. The results of the study show that XYZ SME obtained an actual score of 58 out of 136 points, with a rating of D (Very Poor), and an average maturity level of 2 (Repeatable). These findings indicate that Small, Medium Enterprises XYZ is not yet ready to undergo the BPOM MD certification process and requires significant improvements in the implementation of CPPOB in order to achieve full readiness.
