      Penentuan Kualitas Air Sungai Pesanggrahan Jakarta Barat dengan Menggunakan Indeks Kualitas Air

      Abstract
      Kepadatan penduduk meningkatkan kebutuhan air bersih dan juga limbah yang dibuang ke badan sungai. Pemerintah menerapkan Indeks Kualitas Air (IKA) melalui Peraturan Menteri Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Republik Indonesia Nomor 27 Tahun 2021 untuk menggambarkan kualitas air di kawasan tertentu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kualitas air Sungai Pesenggrahan di Jakarta Barat menggunakan Indeks Kualitas Air (IKA). Pengambilan sampel dilakukan di beberapa lokasi sepanjang sungai untuk menganalisis parameter fisik, kimia, dan biologi. pH dengan nilai 6,75 - 7,65. DO dengan nilai 1,74 - 4,56 mg/L, BOD dengan nilai 1 - 20 mg/L, COD dengan nilai 10,077 - 26,468 mg/L. TSS dengan nilai 3 - 19 mg/L, nitrat dengan nilai 0,163 - 5,408 mg/L, total fosfat dengan nilai 0,056 - 0,271 mg/L, dan total coliform dengan nilai 728 - 5.347 MPN/100 mL. Proses pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode grab sampling. Berdasarkan analisis yang telah dilakukan, nilai Indeks Kualitas Air (IKA) Sungai Pesanggrahan sebesar 50 dengan kategori ‘sedang’.
       
      Population density increases the demand for clean water and the amount of waste discharged into rivers. The government enforces the Water Quality Index (WQI) through the Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia Number 27 of 2021 to describe the water quality in specific areas. This study aims to evaluate the water quality of the Pesanggrahan River in West Jakarta using the Water Quality Index (WQI). Samples were collected from several locations along the river to analyze physical, chemical, and biological parameters. The pH value ranged from 6.75 to 7.65 , DO ranged from 1.74 to 4.56 mg/L, BOD ranged from 1 to 20 mg/L, COD ranged from 10.077 to 26.468 mg/L. TSS ranged from 3 to 19 mg/L, nitrate ranged from 0.163 to 5.408 mg/L, total phosphate ranged from 0.056 to 0.271 mg/L, and total coliform ranged from 728 to 5.347 MPN/100 mL. The sampling process was conducted using the grab sampling method. Based on the analysis, the Water Quality Index (WQI) of the Pesanggrahan River was 50, which falls into the ‘medium’ category.
