| dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh teknologi In Ovo
Feeding (IOF) menggunakan sumber ATP terhadap perkembangan organ
pencernaan, organ antibodi, dan status kesehatan ayam Sentul setelah menetas.
Ayam Sentul dipilih karena potensinya sebagai ayam pedaging lokal, meskipun
sering mengalami kendala pertumbuhan dan efisiensi pakan. Teknologi IOF
dilakukan dengan menyuntikkan larutan nutrisi yang mengandung ATP, Vitamin
B12, Mg-Aspartat, K-Aspartat, dan Sodium Selenit ke dalam telur pada hari ke-18
inkubasi. Tujuannya adalah untuk mendukung perkembangan embrio,
meningkatkan kualitas DOC, serta memperbaiki performa ayam setelah menetas.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan IOF dengan sumber ATP
berdampak signifikan terhadap perkembangan organ pencernaan, terutama
peningkatan berat dan panjang jejunum, panjang sekum, dan ukuran proventikulus.
Peningkatan panjang vili usus juga berkontribusi pada efisiensi penyerapan nutrisi.
Pada status kesehatan darah, terdapat peningkatan jumlah eritrosit pada
periode 1 dan 2, serta jumlah leukosit pada periode 1. Peningkatan eritrosit
mendukung kapasitas oksigenasi, namun kelebihan bisa memicu eritrositosis.
Sementara itu, kenaikan leukosit bisa mencerminkan respons imun maupun stres
akibat lingkungan.
Dalam analisis diferensiasi leukosit, perlakuan ATP meningkatkan jumlah
heterofil (periode 2), limfosit (periode 1 dan 2), monosit (periode 1), serta rasio H/L
(periode 2). Hal ini menunjukkan respons imun yang meningkat, namun juga dapat
menandakan stres fisiologis.
Secara keseluruhan, pemberian ATP melalui IOF tidak hanya mendukung
perkembangan organ pencernaan dan antibodi, tetapi juga memperbaiki status
kesehatan ayam. Peningkatan sistem imun dan optimalisasi darah memberikan
potensi besar dalam peningkatan produktivitas ayam lokal. Teknologi IOF dengan
ATP terbukti efisien untuk meningkatkan kualitas DOC dan performa ayam
pedaging. | |
| dc.description.sponsorship | This study aims to evaluate the effect of In Ovo Feeding (IOF) technology
using an ATP source on the development of digestive organs, antibody organs, and
the health status of Sentul chickens after hatching. Sentul chickens were selected
due to their potential as local broilers, although they often face growth and feed
efficiency challenges. The IOF technology involved injecting a nutrient solution
containing ATP, Vitamin B12, Mg-Aspartate, K-Aspartate, and Sodium Selenite
into the egg on the 18th day of incubation. The goal was to support embryonic
development, enhance chick quality (DOC), and improve post-hatch performance.
The results showed that IOF treatment with ATP significantly affected
digestive organ development, particularly by increasing the jejunum's weight and
length, the cecum's size, and the proventriculus's size. The increase in intestinal villi
length also contributed to more efficient nutrient absorption.
Regarding blood health status, there was an increase in red blood cell
(erythrocyte) count during periods 1 and 2 and an increase in white blood cell
(leukocyte) count in period 1. Higher erythrocyte levels support oxygen-carrying
capacity, although excessive levels may lead to erythrocytosis. Meanwhile,
leukocyte elevation could reflect both immune response and stress due to
environmental factors.
Leukocyte differentiation analysis revealed that ATP treatment increased
heterophils (period 2), lymphocytes (periods 1 and 2), monocytes (period 1), and
the H/L ratio (period 2). This indicates an improved immune response and suggests
physiological stress under certain environmental conditions.
Overall, ATP administration through IOF enhanced digestive and antibody
organ development and improved the chickens’ health status. Improvements in the
immune system and blood optimization present strong potential for increasing the
productivity of local broiler chickens. IOF with ATP has proven to be an efficient
method for enhancing DOC quality and broiler performance. | |
