      Abstract

Awareness of products among Indonesian consumers has grown significantly, however, the halal market still lacks a standardized definition that can serve as a reference for its development. Most traditional markets have not comprehensively met halal standards, necessitating a conceptz. This research aims to formulate a halal market concept through thematic analysis, content analysis, and Analytical Network Process (ANP) analysis to map the priority criteria and alternative concepts. The research results identified four primary criteria, products, market management, ecosystem, and transactions. Three alternative concepts developed, the Muslim-Friendly Market emerged as the priority and most suitable to be implemented as an initial model for halal market development. These findings are expected to serve as a strategic reference for policy-making and sustainable halal market development in Indonesia.
