      Abstract

Feeding practices in the prevention of stunting pose a challenge for communities, as they must ensure adequate nutritional intake at an affordable cost. This study designs an optimized feeding model to prevent stunting using integer nonlinear programming. The research focuses on vulnerable groups, such as infants, toddlers, and pregnant women. Since each of these groups has different nutritional needs, the feeding model in this study is classified into four cases: infants aged 6-11 months, toddlers aged 1–3 years, toddlers aged 4–5 years, and pregnant women. The model considers various nutritional constraints tailored to the specific needs of infants, toddlers, and pregnant women. In addition, the model accounts for daily menu variation by limiting the frequency of selecting the same food item within two days. From the model implementation, feeding menus were generated for two days and five meal times per day, resulting in the minimum possible cost while satisfying all constraints.
