      Abstract

Useful plants can be found in the Lemor Botanical Garden. However, data on plant diversity and useful plants in the Lemor Botanical Garden is still limited, making this research is important. The objectives of this study are to identify the composition and structure of vegetation, determine the potential uses of plant species, and identify the conservation status of plant species in the Lemor Botanical Garden. The methods used include vegetation analysis, exploration, and literature review. Data were analyzed using the Important Value Index, species diversity and evenness, and the percentage of use categories and growth forms of useful plants. The composition and structure of vegetation in the in situ zone consist of 124 species from 45 families, with low to moderate diversity and moderate species evenness. Meanwhile, 350 species from 59 families were found in the ex situ zone. A total of 481 useful plants across 12 use categories are identified. Nine species are listed on the IUCN Red List need to be focused on, six species are included in CITES Appendix II need attention to their population, and no legally protected species were found in the Lemor Botanical Garden.
