      Abstract
      ABSTRAK DEDEN FIKRI RISKIANA. Analisis Keragaman Karakter Umur Berbunga dan Biomassa Aksesi Sorgum (Sorghum bicolor). Dibimbing oleh TRIKOESOEMANINGTYAS dan DIDY SOPANDIE. Tanaman sorgum merupakan tanaman serealia yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pakan, pangan dan biomassa. Keragaman plasma nutfah sorgum berasal dari kerabat liar (wild type), landraces, varietas lokal dan varietas introduksi maupun hasil variasi somaklonal. Keragaman genetik tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai materi genetik dan donor gen untuk perbaikan berbagai karakter tanaman dalam program pemuliaan. Pentingnya keragaman genetik plasma nutfah dalam program pemuliaan adalah kontribusinya yang besar dalam peningkatan kemajuan genetik melalui tahapan rekombinasi dan seleksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan memperoleh informasi tentang keragaman karakter agronomi galur-galur aksesi sorgum. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Juni 2024 hingga bulan September 2024. Lokasi penelitian berada di Kebun Percobaan IP2TP Muara Bogor dan Laboratorium Pemuliaan Tanaman Departemen Agronomi dan Hortikultura Institut Pertanian Bogor. Bahan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini terdiri dari bahan tanam berupa 24 genotipe aksesi sorgum. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah Augmented Randomized Complete Block Design faktor tunggal berupa genotipe, yang terdiri atas 24 genotipe uji dan 6 galur pembanding yang diulang sebanyak 4 kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa galur-galur aksesi sorgum memiliki keragaman yang tinggi. Nilai heritabilitas tinggi terdapat pada semua karakter yang diamati. Hasil korelasi menunjukkan bahwa komponen hasil vegetatif saling berhubungan kuat, mendukung seleksi genotipe untuk produktivitas biomassa.       ABSTRACT DEDEN FIKRI RISKIANA. Analysis of Diversity of Flowering Age and Biomass Characters of Sorghum (Sorghum bicolor) Accessions. Supervised by TRIKOESOEMANINGTYAS and DIDY SOPANDIE. Sorghum is a cereal crop that can be used as feed, food, and biomass. The diversity of sorghum germplasm comes from wild relatives (wild type), landraces, local varieties and introduced varieties, as well as somaclonal variations. This genetic diversity can be used as genetic material and gene donors to improve various plant traits in breeding programs. The importance of genetic diversity of germplasm in breeding programs is its significant contribution to increasing genetic progress through recombination and selection stages. This study aims to obtain information on the diversity of agronomic traits of sorghum accession lines. This study was conducted from June 2024 to September 2024. The research location was at the IP2TP Muara Bogor Experimental Garden and the Plant Breeding Laboratory of the Department of Agronomy and Horticulture, Bogor Agricultural University. The materials used in this study consisted of planting materials in the form of 24 genotypes of sorghum accessions. The experimental design used was a single-factor Augmented Randomized Complete Block Design consisting of 24 test genotypes and 6 control lines replicated four times. The results showed that the sorghum accession lines exhibited high diversity. High heritability values were found in all observed traits. Correlation results indicated that vegetative yield components were strongly correlated, supporting genotype selection for biomass productivity.
