dc.description.abstractProgram Nabuang Sarok PT Semen Padang terhambat karena kurangnya fasilitas pengolahan sampah terpadu yang memadai, sehingga menurunkan kualitas Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF). Penelitian bertujuan untuk identifikasi timbulan, densitas dan karakteristik sampah serta merancang alternatif desain Tempat Pengolahan Sampah Terpadu (TPST) berbasis Refused Derived Fuel (RDF). Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan mengintegrasikan data sekunder dan primer. Data primer diperoleh dari sampling sampah selama 8 hari (SNI 19-3694-1994) dan uji karakteristik (SNI 8966:2021). Tahap analisis data meliputi proyeksi statistik, pengembangan skenario timbulan, perhitungan neraca massa, dan pemilihan teknologi melalui metode skoring. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan timbulan sampah rata-rata sebesar 1,69 kg/orang/hari, didominasi oleh plastik (34,46%) dan daun/ranting (33,96%). Karakteristik sampah dengan nilai kalor 18,03 MJ/kg, kadar air 7,61%, dan kadar abu 5,4% telah memenuhi (SNI 8966:2021). Simpulan penelitian adalah rancangan teknis TPST berteknologi Mechanical Biological Treatment (MBT) di Batu Gadang, Kecamatan Lubuk Kilangan, yang diproyeksikan mampu mengolah 19,25 ton sampah/hari untuk memproduksi 11,26 ton RDF/hari pada tahun 2035.
dc.description.abstractInadequate facilities hinder PT Semen Padang's Nabuang Sarok Program, degrading its Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) quality. This study aims to identify waste characteristics to design an alternative RDF based processing facility. A quantitative method integrated secondary data with primary data from 8 day waste sampling (SNI 19-3694-1994) and characteristic testing (SNI 8966:2021). Analysis involved statistical projections, mass balance calculations, and technology selection via a scoring method. Results showed an average waste generation of 1,69 kg/person/day, dominated by plastic (34,46%) and leaves/twigs (33,96%). The waste properties a calorific value of 18,03 MJ/kg, 7,61% moisture, and 5,4% ash met Class 2 RDF criteria under SNI 8966:2021. The conclusion is a technical design for a Mechanical Biological Treatment (MBT) facility in Batu Gadang. By 2035, the plant is projected to process 19,25 tons of waste daily, yielding 11,26 tons of RDF per day.
