| dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh pemberian ekstrak daun singkong dalam air minum terhadap performa dan persentase karkas ayam IPB-D1. Percobaan menggunakan 150 ekor ayam IPB-D1 dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) terdiri atas 3 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Perlakuan meliputi P0= pakan dan air minum tanpa ekstrak daun singkong; P1= pakan dan air minum dengan ekstrak daun singkong 17 mL L?¹; dan P2= pakan dan air minum dengan ekstrak daun singkong 50 mL L?¹. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan ekstrak daun singkong berpengaruh nyata meningkatkan konsumsi minum dan bobot badan, serta menurunkan nilai FCR. Pada potongan komersial, ekstrak daun singkong meningkatkan 3,6% dada dan 3,4% punggung, serta menurunkan 5,5% paha bawah. Pada bagian non-karkas, ekstrak daun singkong menurunkan persentase kaki dan lemak abdominal. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak daun singkong berpotensi meningkatkan performa, komposisi karkas, dan mengoptimalkan bagian non-karkas ayam IPB-D1, sehingga mendukung penggunaannya sebagai aditif fitogenik yang aman dan bermanfaat. | |
| dc.description.abstract | This study aimed to determine the effect of cassava leaf extract supplementation in drinking water on the performance and carcass percentage of IPB-D1 chickens. The experiment used 150 IPB-D1 chickens in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of three treatments and five replications. The treatments were P0= feed and drinking water without cassava leaf extract; P1= feed and drinking water with cassava leaf extract at 17 mL L?¹; and P2= feed and drinking water with cassava leaf extract at 50 mL L?¹. The results showed that cassava leaf extract supplementation significantly increased water intake and body weight, and reduced FCR. In commercial cuts, cassava leaf extract increased 3,6% of breast and 3,4% back, while reducing 5,5% of lower thighs. In non-carcass components, it reduced the percentages of legs and abdominal fat. This study shows that cassava leaf extract has the potential to improve performance, enhance carcass composition, and optimize non-carcass parts of IPB-D1 chickens, thereby supporting its use as a safe and beneficial phytogenic feed additive. | |
