      Abstract

Changes in news consumption trends have led Generation Z and Millennials to prefer short videos on social media over long articles on news portals, resulting in a decline in iNews page views. This study aims to develop the iNews Byte feature, based on short videos, to increase user engagement, with testing conducted using the USE Questionnaire method. The system was built using the Agile methodology and equipped with functions for video uploads, YouTube integration, and interactions such as like, comment, save, and share. The results show that all features work properly and achieved a usability score above 95%, indicating that the feature is effective, easy to use, satisfying, and relevant to current user needs. These findings demonstrate that short and interactive content can significantly attract younger audiences and has the potential to increase loyalty to the iNews platform.
