      Abstract
      Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi penggunaan kuning telur bebek sebagai pakan alternatif untuk menggantikan naupli artemia pada pembenihan ikan Rainbow Boesemani. Rancangan penelitian adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan empat perlakuan pakan: 100% artemia (A100), 30% kuning telur bebek + 70% artemia (K30A70), 50% kuning telur + 50% artemia (K50A50), dan 100% kuning telur bebek (K100), masing–masing dengan empat ulangan. Larva ikan rainbow berumur 3 hari digunakan sebagai uji dan dipelihara dalam akuarium berukuran 100 x 50 x 35 cm3 dengan kepadatan 1 ekor/L dan dipelihara selama 30 hari. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan K100 memberikan pertumbuhan terbaik dengan laju pertumbuhan panjang harian (LPPH) sebesar 5,88%/hari dan laju pertumbuhan panjang mutlak (LPPM) sebesar 1,76 cm, serta tidak berbeda nyata dengan A100. Tingkat kelangsungan hidup antar perlakuan tidak menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan. Secara ekonomi, penggunaan kuning telur bebek menghasilkan keuntungan yang lebih tinggi (Rp142/produk) dibandingkan naupli artemia (Rp133/produk)
       
      This study aimed to evaluate the use of duck egg yolk as an alternative feed to replace artemia nauplii in Rainbow Boesemani fish hatchery. The study design was a completely randomized design (CRD) with four feeding treatments: 100% artemia (A100), 30% duck egg yolk + 70% artemia (K30A70), 50% egg yolk + 50% artemia (K50A50), and 100% duck egg yolk (K100), each with four replications. 3-day-old rainbow trout larvae were used as a test and maintained in an aquarium measuring 100 x 50 x 35 cm3 with a density of 1 fish/L and maintained for 30 days. The results showed that the K100 treatment provided the best growth with a daily length growth rate (DLPH) of 5.88%/day and an absolute length growth rate (LPPM) of 1.76 cm, and was not significantly different from A100. The survival rate between treatments did not show a significant difference. Economically, the use of duck egg yolks produces higher profits (Rp. 142/product) compared to artemia nauplii (Rp. 133/product)
