| dc.description.abstract | Selat Bali merupakan wilayah perairan yang kaya sumber daya perikanan, salah satunya yaitu ikan layang (D. russelli) yang memiliki nilai ekonomi dan ekologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis komposisi makanan yuwana ikan layang dan hubungan antara ekologi makanan yuwana ikan layang dengan konsentrasi klorofil-a di perairan Teluk Biru dan sekitarnya. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada April 2023 hingga November 2024. Sampel ikan ditangkap menggunakan bagan apung. Analisis saluran pencernaan dilakukan pada 109 individu ikan layang dan konsentrasi klorofil-a diperoleh dari citra satelit Aqua-MODIS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komposisi makanan yuwana ikan layang (D. russelli) terdiri atas Copepoda dari famili Paracalanidae, Temoridae, Caligidae, dan Scoletrichidae, serta Krustasea (Malacostraca) dari famili Sergestidae dan Luciferidae. Hubungan ekologi makanan yuwana ikan layang dengan konsentrasi klorofil-a terjadi melalui proses rantai makanan, yakni fitoplankton sebagai sumber makanan bagi zooplankton dan zooplankton menjadi makanan bagi yuwana ikan layang. Pola pertumbuhan ikan layang bersifat alometrik negatif dengan faktor kondisi yang baik (FK = 1,00). Distribusi yuwana ikan layang di Teluk Biru dan perairan sekitarnya berkaitan dengan ketersediaan zooplankton. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa Teluk Biru dan perairan sekitarnya merupakan daerah asuhan bagi ikan layang. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The Bali Strait is a marine area rich in fishery resources, one of which is the juvenil scad, which holds both economic and ecological value. This study aims to analyze the diet composition of juvenile scad and the ecological relationship between their feeding habits and chlorophyll-a concentrations in the waters of Teluk Biru and its surroundings. Sampling was conducted from April 2023 to November 2024. Fish samples were collected using lift nets. Stomach content analysis was performed on 109 individual juvenile scads, and chlorophyll-a concentrations were obtained from Aqua-MODIS satellite imagery. The results showed that the diet composition of juvenile scad (D. russelli) consisted of copepods from the families Paracalanidae, Temoridae, Caligidae, and Scoletrichidae, as well as crustaceans (Malacostraca) from the families Sergestidae and Luciferidae. The ecological relationship between juvenile scad and chlorophyll-a concentrations occurs through the food chain phytoplankton serve as a food source for zooplankton, which in turn are consumed by the juvenile mackerel scad. The growth pattern of mackerel scad is negatively allometric, with a good condition factor (CF = 1,00). The distribution of juvenile scad in Teluk Biru and its surrounding waters is related to the availability of zooplankton. These findings indicate that Teluk Biru and its surrounding waters serve as a nursery ground. | |
