This study aims to compare conventional measurement methods and digital image to analyze the body size and shape of adult PO cattle. The studied adult PO cattle were aged > 24 months (I2), consisting of 68 females and 7 males, involving ten linear body surface variables. The student’s t-test showed that there were similar measurement results for some variables in male and female PO cattle. Principal component analysis explained 42,1% of total variance size and 23,9% of total variance shape. Chest girth (X9) was identified as the size descriptor, whereas body length (X3) was the shape descriptor of PO cattle. The size from the digital image had a correlation with the size from the conventional of 0,598, with a coefficient of determination of 35,76%, while the shape from the digital image had a correlation with the shape from the conventional of 0,484, with a coefficient of determination of 23,43%. For every one-unit increase in conventional size scores, the digital image size scores increased by 0,7039, whereas for every one-unit increase in conventional shape scores, the digital image shape scores increased by 0,4163.
