Strategi Peningkatan Daya Saing Povidone Iodine Indonesia di Pasar Internasional

Povidone iodine Indonesia memiliki kapasitas produksi hingga 300 ton per tahun, namun masih ada peluang sebesar 91,7% yang belum terserap oleh pasar. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis struktur pasar dan daya saing Povidone iodine Indonesia serta memberikan rekomendasi strategi untuk pengembangan potensi ekspor. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dari bulan Mei – Juni 2025 dengan data primer diperoleh dari wawancara terhadap 3 narasumber dan data sekunder berupa yearly time series dari tahun 2019 – 2023 dengan kode HS 390599. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan HI, CR4, RSCA, EPD, dan Porter’s Diamond Model. Hasil analisis struktur pasar adalah pasar oligopoli dengan konsentrasi pasar sedang cenderung tinggi. Povidone iodine Indonesia belum memiliki daya saing komparatif dan berada pada posisi rising star yang mengindikasikan memiliki daya saing kompetitif. Hasil Porter’s Diamond Model menunjukkan peran kebijakan pemerintah yang paling banyak mendukung daya saing Povidone iodine Indonesia. Terdapat 7 rekomendasi strategi yang dirumuskan dari hasil faktor yang tidak mendukung daya saing Povidone iodine Indonesia. Indonesian Povidone iodine production capacity reaches 300 tons per year, but there is still an opportunity of 91.7% that has not yet been absorbed by the market. This study aims to analyze the market structure and competitiveness of Indonesian Povidone iodine and to provide strategic recommendations for developing export potential. Data were collected from May to June 2025, with primary data obtained from interviews with 3 informants and secondary data in the form of a yearly time series from 2019 to 2023 with HS code 390599. The analysis was conducted using HI, CR4, RSCA, EPD, and Porter’s Diamond Model. The market structure analysis results indicate an oligopoly market with a medium to high market concentration. Indonesian Povidone iodine does not yet have comparative competitiveness and is in a rising star position, indicating it has competitive competitiveness. The results of Porter’s Diamond Model indicate that government policies play the most significant role in supporting the competitiveness of Indonesian Povidone iodine. There are 7 strategic recommendations formulated from the factors that do not support the competitiveness of Indonesian Povidone iodine.
