      Abstract
      Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi digital storytelling yang diterapkan oleh Taylor Swift dalam membentuk keterlibatan penggemar (fan engagement) dan mendukung pemasaran musik melalui media sosial. Taylor Swift dikenal tidak hanya karena kemampuan vokalnya, tetapi juga karena kekuatan naratif yang membangun koneksi emosional dengan penggemar. Strategi ini diperkuat melalui berbagai platform digital, dengan fokus utama pada Instagram, meskipun juga mencakup TikTok dan X. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode etnografi digital. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi terhadap tiga unggahan utama di akun Instagram @taylorswift dan wawancara dengan tiga penggemar aktif di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan caption puitis, simbol visual, dan elemen misteri seperti easter eggs menciptakan ruang partisipatif yang tinggi. Keterlibatan penggemar tercermin dalam interaksi aktif seperti berbagi konten, menyusun teori, dan menciptakan konten buatan penggemar. Selain itu, narasi personal Swift membangun hubungan parasosial yang mendorong loyalitas jangka panjang. Dengan demikian, digital storytelling menjadi fondasi strategis dalam pemasaran musik kontemporer yang melibatkan audiens secara emosional dan partisipatif.
       
      This study analyzes Taylor Swift’s digital storytelling strategy in shaping fan engagement and supporting music marketing on social media. Swift is known not only for her vocal ability but also for her narrative strength in building emotional connections with fans. This strategy is primarily executed through Instagram, while TikTok and X serve as supporting platforms. A qualitative method with a digital ethnographic approach was used in this study. Data were collected from observations of three major Instagram posts on @taylorswift and interviews with three active Indonesian fans. The findings indicate that Swift’s use of poetic captions, symbolic visuals, and mysterious elements like easter eggs fosters a highly participatory fan environment. Engagement is reflected through content sharing, theory-making, and user-generated content. Furthermore, Swift’s personal narratives strengthen parasocial relationships, encouraging long-term loyalty. Digital storytelling thus emerges as a strategic foundation in modern music marketing, enabling emotional and participatory audience engagement.
