      Pemodelan Penjalaran Gelombang Tsunami di Pesisir Labuan Bajo, Nusa Tenggara Timur

      Abstract
      Indonesia merupakan wilayah rawan tsunami akibat aktivitas tektonik yang kompleks, termasuk di wilayah Labuan Bajo, Nusa Tenggara Timur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memodelkan penjalaran gelombang tsunami dan mengetahui tinggi serta waktu kedatangan gelombang tsunami di wilayah pesisir Labuan Bajo berdasarkan lima titik gempa gempa di zona subduksi Laut Flores. Metode yang digunakan adalah pemodelan numerik dengan perangkat lunak MIKE 21, menggunakan data batimetri, mekanisme sumber gempa, dan data pasang surut. Lima titik sumber gempa yang berbeda digunakan untuk mensimulasikan titik gempa terburuk tsunami. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa setiap titik gempa menghasilkan variasi ketinggian dan waktu kedatangan tsunami di enam titik tinjau yang tersebar di sekitar Labuan Bajo. Ketinggian gelombang maksimum tercatat mencapai lebih dari 7 meter pada titik gempa terburuk, dengan waktu tiba berkisar antara 6 menit hingga 2 jam setelah gempa, tergantung pada lokasi titik tinjau dan sumber gempa. Hasil ini dapat menjadi acuan dalam mitigasi bencana dan perencanaan ruang wilayah pesisir berbasis risiko tsunami di daerah wisata seperti Labuan Bajo.
       
      Indonesia is highly vulnerable to tsunamis due to its complex tectonic setting, including the region of Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara. This study aims to model tsunami wave propagation and to determine the height and arrival time of tsunami waves along the coastal area of Labuan Bajo, based on five earthquake scenarios in the Flores Sea subduction zone. The method used is numerical modeling using MIKE 21 software, incorporating bathymetry data, fault mechanism parameters, and tidal data. Five different earthquake source points were simulated to represent worst-case tsunami scenarios. The results show that each scenario produces varying tsunami heights and arrival times at six observation points distributed around Labuan Bajo. Maximum wave heights exceeded 7 meters in the worst-case scenario, with arrival times ranging from 6 minutes to 2 hours after the earthquake, depending on the observation point location and epicenter distance. These findings provide a crucial reference for disaster mitigation and spatial planning in tsunami prone coastal tourism regions such as Labuan Bajo.
