Hubungan Pengetahuan, Sikap, Praktik Label Pangan dan Konsumsi Pangan Kemasan dengan Status Gizi serta Glukosa Darah pada Penyandang Diabetes
Abstract
Label pangan berperan penting dalam membantu penyandang diabetes
memilih makanan yang sesuai, namun seringkali tidak dipahami dengan baik.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan pengetahuan, sikap, dan
praktik terhadap label pangan dengan konsumsi pangan kemasan, status gizi, dan
kadar glukosa darah pada penyandang diabetes di Kota Bogor. Penelitian
menggunakan desain cross sectional dengan 51 subjek yang dipilih secara
purposive. Sebagian besar subjek berjenis kelamin perempuan, berusia lansia,
memiliki pengetahuan dan sikap yang cukup terhadap label pangan, namun
praktiknya masih kurang. Jenis pangan kemasan yang paling sering dikonsumsi
adalah kopi kemasan, sedangkan sirup merupakan yang paling jarang. Hasil analisis
uji hubungan antara pengetahuan, sikap, dan praktik label pangan menunjukkan
terdapat hubungan pengetahuan dan sikap label pangan (p<0,05). Hasil uji
hubungan pengetahuan, sikap, praktik label pangan dan pola konsumsi pangan
kemasan menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifkan dengan status gizi
dan glukosa darah penyandang diabetes(p>0,05). Food labels play an important role in helping individuals with diabetes choose
appropriate foods, but they are often poorly understood. This study aimed to analyze
the relationship between knowledge, attitudes, and practices toward food labels
with packaged food consumption, nutritional status, and blood glucose levels
among people with diabetes in Bogor City. A cross-sectional design was used,
involving 51 purposively selected subjects. Most subjects were elderly women who
had moderate knowledge and attitudes regarding food labels, but their practices
were still lacking. The most frequently consumed packaged food was instant coffee,
while syrup was the least consumed. The results of the analysis showed a significant
relationship between knowledge and attitudes toward food labels (p<0.05).
However, the results also indicated that there was no significant relationship
between knowledge, attitudes, and practices regarding food labels and the pattern
of packaged food consumption with nutritional status and blood glucose levels
among individuals with diabetes (p>0.05).
