      Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of the harvest premi system on the performance and job satisfaction of oil palm harvest work at PT Buluh Cawang Plantation. The research was conducted from November to December 2024 and involved 50 respondents selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires, interviews, and observations. The results of a simple linear regression analysis showed that the harvest premium system had a positive and significant effect on worker performance with a regression coefficient of 0,771 (p < 0,000) and on job satisfaction with a coefficient of 1,199 (p < 0,000). The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0,49 indicated that nearly half of the variation in performance and job satisfaction was explained by the premium system. The implementation of additional output-based incentives effectively improved motivation, work enthusiasm, and job comfort. Therefore, a structured and measurable premium system served as an effective strategy to improve labor productivity in the plantation sector. Keywords: job satisfaction, harvest premium, productivity, work effectiveness.
