      Abstract

Tilapia Oreochromis sp. is a freshwater fish commodity with strong immunity and promising business potential. However, uneven growth and low survival rates remain common challenges in cultivation. One strategy to improve tilapia seed growth is feed supplementation with additives. This special internship aims to participate in tilapia seed nursery activities and provide innovations in the form of supplementation of moringa leaf flour and EM4 probiotics in feed to increase the growth of tilapia seeds at KK Farm, Bogor. Tilapia seeds were reared using a combination of moringa leaf flour at a dosage of 6%/kg of feed and EM4 probiotics with a dose 6 mL/kg of feed. The supplementation resulted in a specific weight growth rate of 3.29%, an absolute weight growth of 1962 g, an absolute length growth of 6.4 cm, a feed conversion ratio of 1.13, and a survival rate of 90%. These results indicate that the use of a combination of moringa leaf flour and probiotics produces a synergistic effect that has a positive impact on the growth of tilapia.
