| dc.description.abstract | Flowering is a critical stage in the cultivation of vanilla plants (Vanilla planifolia), which is highly influenced by environmental factors and care practices. This study aims to evaluate the effects of combining jakaba fungi, as a biofertilizer, and coconut water, as a source of natural hormones, on the flowering of vanilla plants. The study was conducted from August 2022 to January 2023 in Bangak, Boyolali, Central Java, Indonesia. A Completely Randomized Block Design (CRBD) with one factor was used, consisting of 12 treatments and 3 replications. Each treatment unit was represented by two plants, with five plants as controls (no treatment) and five plants treated with the jakaba solution as practiced by farmers, resulting in a total of 82 experimental plants. The doses of coconut water applied were 50, 100, and 150 ml per plant, while the jakaba fungal solution doses were 150, 200, and 250 ml per plant. The results showed that combining 200 ml of jakaba fungi with 50 ml of coconut water significantly increased the flower number per plant to 17 and the fruit number per plant to 16. The findings suggest that jakaba fungi and coconut water can increase flower number and vanilla productivity. | |
