      Abstract

The determination of copper content in copper concentrate was essential to maintaining fairness and transparency within the mining sector. According to the Regulation of the Minister of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia Number 11 of 2024 concerning Export Policies and Regulations, the minimum copper content in concentrate was set at =15%. To ensure accurate results, the analytical method was validated, encompassing parameters such as linearity, Limit of Detection (LOD), Limit of Quantitation (LOQ), accuracy, precision, robustness, and ruggedness. Linearity testing yielded a linear equation of y=10952x+2979.8 with a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.9999, indicating a strong linear relationship. The LOD was 0.6330 ppm and the LOQ was 1.9183 ppm. The accuracy test resulted in a recovery of 100.10%, while precision testing yielded a %RSD of 0.96%. Robustness and ruggedness tests showed no significant differences in results, confirming the method's reliability. Consequently, the method was considered valid for routine analysis at BLBC. The copper concentrate content obtained was 32.51%, which met the requirements stipulated in the Regulation of the Minister of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia Number 11 of 2024.
