      Pengaruh Metode Pencucian Terhadap Periode Pencucian Unit Filtrasi di PT Tirta Asasta Kota Depok (PERSERODA)

      Abstract
      Penurunan efisiensi di unit filtrasi PT Tirta Asasta berdampak pada meningkatnya periode pencucian yang menyebabkan energi akibat seringnya pencucian. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja unit filtrasi aktual, mengevaluasi pengaruh perubahan metode pencucian terhadap periode pencucian, dengan tujuan meningkatkan efisiensi operasional unit filtrasi tanpa melakukan modifikasi pada media filter maupun spesifikasi unit yang telah ada. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pencucian tunggal (single wash) dan pencucian ganda (double wash) dengan menggunakan air scouring dan backwash, serta metode kombinasi di mana keduanya dilakukan secara simultan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penurunan efisiensi kekeruhan air mencapai 18,3% dan periode pencucian meningkat hingga mencapai interval setiap 10 jam. Adapun metode pencucian ganda (double wash) terbukti paling efisien dengan periode pencucian yang mampu mencapai interval 24 jam, efisiensi kekeruhan air mencapai hingga 90%, dan memiliki kemampuan penyisihan pH serta TDS yang paling konsisten.
       
      The decrease in efficiency in the filtration unit of PT Tirta Asasta has an impact on increasing the washing period which causes energy due to frequent washing. The study aims to analyse the actual performance of the filtration unit, evaluate the effect of changing the washing method on the washing period, with the aim of increasing the operational efficiency of the filtration unit without making modifications to the filter media or existing unit specifications. The methods used include single wash and double wash using scouring and backwash water, as well as a combination method where both are performed simultaneously. The results showed that the reduction in water turbidity efficiency reached 18.3% and the washing period increased to reach an interval of every 10 hours. The double wash method proved to be the most efficient with a wash period capable of reaching 24-hour intervals, water turbidity efficiency reaching up to 90%, and having the most consistent pH and TDS removal capabilities.
