dc.description.abstractPT Botani Seed Indonesia merupakan holding company milik IPB University yang bergerak dalam bidang produksi dan distribusi produk hasil inovasi IPB dengan lembaga lainnya. Perusahaan masih menghadapi beberapa tantangan dalam pengembangan bisnis benih, seperti segmentasi pasar yang terbatas, persaingan industri yang semakin ketat, dan pemanfaatan keunggulan kompetitif belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan merumuskan strategi pengembangan bisnis benih pada PT Botani Seed Indonesia menggunakan metode penelitian yang meliputi analisis matriks IFE, EFE, SWOT, IE, dan QSPM. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan penyebaran kuesioner kepada pihak eksternal dan internal perusahaan. Hasil skor terbobot matriks IFE sebesar 3.15 dan EFE sebesar 2.961, menunjukan bahwa posisi PT Botani Seed Indonesia berada pada kuadran IV dalam matriks IE. Analisis SWOT menghasilkan enam alternatif rekomendasi strategi yang dapat dipertimbangkan oleh PT Botani Seed Indonesia. Hasil analisis QSPM menunjukkan strategi yang menjadi prioritas adalah memanfaatkan kekuatan PT Botani Seed Indonesia sebagai holding company milik IPB University dan kualitas mutu benih untuk memperluas segmentasi pasar dengan nilai TAS 6.34
dc.description.abstractPT Botani Seed Indonesia is a holding company owned by IPB University which is engaged in the production and distribution of products resulting from IPB's innovations with other institutions. The company still faces several challenges in developing the seed business, such as limited market segmentation, increasingly fierce industry competition, and the utilization of competitive advantages is not optimal. This study aims to formulate a seed business development strategy at PT Botani Seed Indonesia using research methods that include IFE, EFE, SWOT, IE, and QSPM matrix analysis. Data was obtained through interviews, observations, and distributing questionnaires to external and internal parties of the company. The results of the weighted score of the IFE matrix of 3.15 and EFE of 2.961, indicate that the position of PT Botani Seed Indonesia is in quadrant 1 in the IE matrix. SWOT analysis produces six alternative strategy recommendations that can be considered by PT Botani Seed Indonesia. The results of the QSPM analysis show that the priority strategy is to utilize the strengths of PT Botani Seed Indonesia as a holding company owned by IPB University and the quality of seed quality to expand market segmentation with a TAS value of 6.34.
