      Abstract

Modern retail industry in Indonesia continues to grow. DailyUs is a minimarket owned by IPB University with students as its target consumers. Despite undergoing rebranding and management shift, DailyUs has not been able to achieve its sales targets. This study aims to analyze the company’s current condition using value chain analysis, Porter’s five forces, and PESTLE approaches, identify internal and external factors through IFE and EFE matrices, formulate strategies using IE and SWOT matrices, and determine priority strategies using QSPM. Analysis results show that DailyUs’ main strength lies in its strategic location, while its main weakness is the lack of KPI implementation in company management. The increasing number of new students each year presents a significant opportunity, while dependency on campus academic activities remains the primary challenge. Based on the company's position in the IE matrix, DailyUs is in the “hold and maintain” quadrant. The prioritized strategies include: expanding product types and brands, designing promotions and price discounts tailored to students’ activities, integrating with the IPB Mobile app and WhatsApp community features, collaborating with student’s organization, and designing company KPIs.
