      Abstract

The research conducted aims to obtain local weed types that can be used as bioherbicide materials to control weeds in oil palm cultivation areas. This study also aims to find the precise concentration of bioherbicide extract in weed control. The research uses two experiments. Experiment 1 employs a factorial Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with two factors, the first factor being the type of bioherbicide extract and the second factor being the concentration of the bioherbicide. The second experiment uses a one-factor RCBD with different treatment concentrations (0%, 1%, 2%, 3%). The observation results are tested using ANOVA and further tests at a 5% significance level. The parameters observed include the number of weeds grown, identification of weed types, and biomass of weeds that have grown. The results of the study indicate a significant effect of the type of bioherbicide on pre-emergent weed control, delivering significant results for each observed parameter. The treatment of bioherbicide concentration also yielded significant results for each observed parameter. The interaction of the two treatments showed significant results on some of the observed parameters.
