      Optimalisasi Pemuasaan terhadap Pertumbuhan, Efisiensi Pakan dan Kelangsungan Hidup Benih Ikan Jurung Tor tambroides

      Abstract
      Penggunaan pakan buatan secara berlebihan menyebabkan kurang efisien dalam pembudidaya ikan jurung, salah satu cara mengefisiensikan pakan yaitu dengan cara pemuasaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalisasi pemuasaan terhadap pertumbuhan, efisiensi pakan dan kelangsungan hidup benih ikan jurung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan lima perlakuan dan empat ulangan. Perlakuan yang diuji yaitu pemuasaan secara periodik meliputi tanpa pemuasaan (TP), pemuasaan 1 hari (P1), pemuasaan 2 hari (P2), pemuasaan 3 hari (P3) dan pemuasaan 4 hari (P4). Hasil terbaik ditunjukkan pada perlakuan P2 dengan nilai pertumbuhan panjang dan bobot mutlak yaitu 2,93±0,09 cm dan 0,36±0,007 g, laju pertumbuhan spesifik dengan nilai 1,3±0,02%, efisiensi pakan sebesar 26,1±2,24%, nilai FCR yaitu 3,85±0,33, memiliki respon terhadap pakan yang baik dan tubuh benih ikan tampak sehat. Perlakuan P2 terbukti paling efektif dalam pertumbuhan, mengefisienkan pakan dan menjaga kelangsungan hidup benih ikan jurung.
       
      Excessive use of artificial feed leads to inefficiency in jurung fish cultivation. One way to improve feed efficiency is through fasting. This study aimed to optimize fasting for growth, feed efficiency, and survival of jurung fish fry. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) method with five treatments and four replications. The treatments tested were periodic fasting, including no fasting (TP), 1-day fasting (P1), 2-day fasting (P2), 3-day fasting (P3), and 4-day fasting (P4). The best results were shown in the P2 treatment with absolute length and weight growth values of 2.93±0.09 cm and 0.36±0.007 g, specific growth rate with a value of 1.3±0.02%, feed efficiency of 26.1±2.24%, FCR value of 3.85±0.33, a good response to feed and healthy appearance of the fish seeds. The P2 treatment proved to be the most effective in term of growth, feed efficient, and maintenance of the survival of jurung fish seeds.
