      Abstract

This study aims to implement and test a single-axis solar tracker automation and monitoring system to maximize light intensity absorption and predict the electrical power generated by monocrystalline solar panels. Data such as time, right lux, left lux, servo position, voltage (V), current (A), power (W), and energy (Wh) are sent to Firebase and monitored in real-time through web monitoring, which can then be downloaded for data analysis purposes. This study uses Random Forest Regressor analysis to analyze the influence of light intensity in predicting the electrical power generated by the single-axis solar tracker system, by comparing the prediction results with actual data. The results of the study show that the single-axis solar tracker system successfully maximizes light intensity absorption by automatically adjusting the position of the solar panels and predicting the electrical power generated by monocrystalline solar panels.
