| dc.description.abstract | Studi sebelumnya menunjukkan bahwa spesies kapang seperti Aspergillusspp. dan Geotrichum candidum dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan ikan ketika digunakan sebagai suplemen pakan. Namun, informasi yang tersedia tentang potensi aplikasi Rhizopus spp. dalam budidaya perikanan, khususnya dalam pemeliharaan ikan lele sangkuriang (Clarias gariepinus), masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh bubuk miselium Rhizopus sp. dari inokulum tempe komersial yang ditambahkan ke pakan komersial terhadap kinerja pertumbuhan benih ikan lele sangkuriang. Pelet komersial PF800 dilapisi dengan 1%, 5%, dan 10% (w/w) bubuk miselium menggunakan 3% (v/w) putih telur dan 20% (v/w) aquades steril sebagai perekat, sedangkan pakan tanpa penambahanbubuk miselium berfungsi sebagai kontrol. Ikan diberi pakan sebanyak 2 kali sehari dengan dosis 5% (w/w) dari total biomassa selama perlakuan 15 hari. Kinerja pertumbuhan ikan dievaluasi berdasarkan penambahan berat dan panjang, serta laju pertumbuhan harian (LPH) pada hari ke-0, 5, 10, dan 15. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penambahan 10% miselium memberikan peningkatan paling signifikan pada parameter pertumbuhan, berupa penambahan bobot dan panjang paling tinggi, dibandingkan dengan perlakuan lain dan kontrol, serta LPH juga paling tinggi, yaitu berturut-turut 3,10 g; 3,34 cm; dan 7%/hari. Temuan ini menunjukkan potensi miselium Rhizopus sp. sebagai suplemen alami pada pakan untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan ikan lele, aplikasi yang menjanjikan dalam praktik budidaya ikan berkelanjutan. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Previous studies have shown that fungal species such as Aspergillus spp. and Geotrichum candidum can enhance fish growth when used as dietary additives. However, limited information is available on the potential application of Rhizopusspp. in aquaculture, particularly in the rearing of Sangkuriang catfish (Clarias gariepinus). This study aimed to evaluate the effect of Rhizopus sp. mycelium powder derived from a commercial tempeh starter, supplemented into commercial feed, on the growth performance of Sangkuriang catfish fingerlings. Commercial PF800 pellets were coated with 1%, 5%, and 10% (w/w) mycelium powder using 3% (v/w) egg white and 20% (v/w) sterile distilled water as binders, while unsupplemented feed served as the control. Fish were fed twice daily at 5% (w/w) of total biomass over 15 days. Growth performance was assessed based on weight gain, length increment, and specific growth rate (SGR) on days 0, 5, 10, and 15. The results indicated that the 10% supplementation yielded the most significant improvements in growth parameters, including the highest weight and length gains, compared to other treatments and the control, as well as the highest SGR among the fish. These findings highlight the potential of Rhizopus sp. mycelium as a natural dietary supplement in enhancing fish growth, suggesting promising applications in sustainable aquaculture practices. | |
