      Evaluasi Waktu Baku pada Assembly Line Produk H3cr di PT Omron Manufacturing of Indonesia

      Abstract
      Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT Omron Manufacturing of Indonesia pada lini perakitan produk H3CR untuk mengevaluasi efisiensi waktu baku, mengidentifikasi aktivitas non-value added, dan memberikan usulan perbaikan ergonomi. Metode yang digunakan adalah pengukuran kerja menggunakan stopwatch time study, dilengkapi dengan uji keseragaman dan kecukupan data, penyesuaian waktu dengan metode westinghouse, serta perhitungan waktu baku dengan mempertimbangkan nilai kelonggaran. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa waktu baku pada proses visual & switch inspection adalah 86,75 detik, sementara beban kerja operator mencapai 108,44%, yang menunjukkan ketidakseimbangan dan potensi kelelahan kerja. Aktivitas berpindah antar stasiun menjadi elemen dominan dalam pemborosan waktu. Sebagai solusi, diusulkan penggunaan kursi putar (swivel chair). Setelah usulan diterapkan dalam simulasi perbaikan, waktu baku menurun menjadi 79,01 detik dan beban kerja berkurang menjadi 98,76%, yang mencerminkan peningkatan efisiensi serta distribusi beban kerja yang lebih seimbang.
       
      This research was conducted at PT Omron Manufacturing of Indonesia on the H3CR product assembly line to evaluate standard time efficiency, identify non-value added activities, and provide ergonomic improvement suggestions. The method used was work measurement using a stopwatch time study, supplemented with data uniformity and sufficiency tests, time adjustments using the Westinghouse method, and standard time calculations by considering allowance values. The analysis results showed that the standard time in the visual & switch inspection process was 86.75 seconds, while the operator workload reached 108.44%, which indicated an imbalance and potential for work fatigue. The activity of moving between stations was the dominant element in wasting time. As a solution, the use of a swivel chair was proposed. After the proposal was implemented in the improvement simulation, the standard time decreased to 79.01 seconds and the workload was reduced to 98.76%, which reflected increased efficiency and a more balanced workload distribution.
