      Abstract
      Sistem manajemen pengetahuan tumbuhan obat yang telah dikembangkan sebelumnya cukup informatif, namun masih memiliki ruang untuk ditingkatkan, khususnya dalam hal antarmuka pengguna dan kemudahan akses informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang ulang dan mengoptimalkan tampilan front-end sistem agar meningkatkan fungsionalitas, aksesibilitas, serta pengalaman pengguna dalam mengakses informasi tumbuhan obat. Proses pengembangan dilakukan menggunakan metode prototyping dengan pendekatan iteratif sehingga perbaikan dapat dilakukan secara bertahap berdasarkan masukan dari pengguna. Sistem yang dihasilkan dilengkapi dengan fitur tambahan seperti peta interaktif, visualisasi taksonomi berbentuk piramida terbalik, dan grafik batang yang menampilkan jenis tanaman serta manfaat yang paling sering digunakan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem baru memiliki tampilan yang lebih terstruktur, informatif, dan mendukung pencarian serta pengelolaan data secara efisien. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat menjadi sarana edukatif sekaligus referensi digital yang bermanfaat bagi masyarakat umum dan peneliti di bidang pengobatan tradisional.
       
      The previously developed knowledge management system for medicinal plants was quite informative but still has room for improvement, especially regarding the user interface and ease of access to information. This study aims to redesign and optimize the system’s front-end display to enhance functionality, accessibility, and user experience in retrieving medicinal plant data. The development process employs a prototyping method with an iterative approach, allowing gradual improvements based on user feedback. The resulting system includes additional components such as interactive map, taxonomy visualization in the form of an inverted pyramid, and bar charts presenting the most frequently used plant types and their benefits. Testing results show that the new system offers a more structured and informative interface while supporting efficient data search and management. This system is expected to serve as both an educational platform and a digital reference beneficial for the general public and researchers in traditional medicine.
