| dc.description.abstract | ADE SILVIA. Pengaruh Pemberian Green Fodder Jagung dan Gabah Terhadap Konsumsi Pakan,
Palatabilitas dan Respon Fisiologis Kambing. Dibimbing oleh PRIA SEMBADA.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh pemberian green fodder jagung dan
gabah padi sebagai alternatif pakan terhadap konsumsi pakan, palatabilitas dan respon fisiologis
kambing. Penelitian dilakukan di Sekolah Vokasi IPB University dengan menggunakan tiga ekor
kambing berumur kurang dari satu tahun dalam rancangan bujur sangkar latin (RBSL) yang terdiri
atas 3 perlakuan, 3 waktu pengamatan dan 3 ekor kambing sebagai unit percobaan (P0 100% silase,
P1 80% silase, + 20% green fodder jagung dan P2 60% silase + 30% green fodder gabah + 10%
green fodder jagung). Parameter yang diamati meliputi konsumsi pakan, palatabilitas, dan respon
fisiologis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian green fodder tidak berpengaruh nyata
(P>0,05) terhadap respon fisiologis dan konsumsi pakan kambing, namun semua parameter tetap
berada dalam kisaran normal. Pakan green fodder jagung memiliki tingkat preferensi dan
palatabilitas yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan green fodder gabah padi. Perlakuan P1 menghasilkan
konsumsi pakan tertinggi dibandingkan perlakuan lainnya. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa green
fodder jagung berpotensi sebagai alternatif pakan untuk meningkatkan konsumsi dan kesukaan
pakan kambing.

| dc.description.abstract | ADE SILVIA. The Effect Of Corn Green Fodder And Rice Grain As Alternative Feeds On Feed
Intake, Palatability, And Physiological Responses Of Goats. Supervised by PRIA SEMBADA.
This study aimed to evaluate the effect of corn green fodder and rice grain as alternative
feeds on feed intake, palatability, and physiological responses of goats. The research was
conducted at the Vocational School of IPB University using three goats under one year of age,
latin square design (LSD) was used in this study, consisting of 3 treatments, 3 observation periods
and 3 goats as experimental units (P0 100% Silage, P1 80% Silage + 20% Corn Green Fodder
and P2 60% Silage + 30% Rice Green Fodder + 10% Corn Green Fodder). Observed parameters
included rectal temperature, heart rate, respiration rate, feed intake, preference, and palatability.
The results showed that green fodder supplementation had no significant effect (P>0.05) on
physiological responses and feed intake. However, all physiological parameters remained within
normal ranges, indicating the goats were in healthy condition. Corn green fodder demonstrated
higher preference and palatability levels compared to rice husk green fodder. The P1 treatment
resulted in the highest feed intake among all groups. These findings suggest that corn green fodder
has strong potential as an alternative feed to improve feed intake and preference in goats.
