      Abstract
      Taman Keanekaragaman Hayati (Kehati) Sawerigading Wallacea di Sorowako, Sulawesi Selatan, yang dikelola oleh PT Vale Indonesia Tbk, memiliki potensi besar sebagai destinasi ekowisata edukasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi wisata, mengevaluasi persepsi dan kesiapan pengelola serta masyarakat, menganalisis preferensi pengunjung, dan merumuskan strategi pengembangan berkelanjutan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi dan penyebaran kuesioner kepada 10 pengelola, 54 masyarakat, dan 100 pengunjung. Analisis dilakukan dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan menggunakan analisis SWOT. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa taman ini memiliki kekayaan biodiversitas dan lanskap yang mendukung kegiatan wisata edukatif berbasis konservasi. Tanggapan positif dari pemangku kepentingan menunjukkan kesiapan untuk pengembangan ekowisata. Luaran penelitian berupa policy brief dan rancangan paket wisata edukasi bertema “Eksplorasi Biodiversitas Wallacea”. Strategi pengembangan difokuskan pada pelestarian lingkungan, keterlibatan masyarakat, dan penguatan fasilitas edukasi.
       
      Sawerigading Wallacea Biodiversity Park (Kehati) in Sorowako, South Sulawesi, managed by PT Vale Indonesia Tbk, has great potential as an educational ecotourism destination. This study aims to identify tourism potential, disseminate management and community perceptions and readiness, analyze visitor preferences, and develop a sustainable development strategy. The methods used included observation and questionnaires distributed to 10 managers, 54 community members, and 100 visitors. The analysis was conducted using a descriptive and SWOT approach. The results indicate that the park has a rich biodiversity and landscape that supports conservation-based educational tourism activities. Positive responses from stakeholders indicate readiness for ecotourism development. The research outputs are a policy brief and a plan for an educational tour package themed "Wallacea Biodiversity Exploration." The development strategy focuses on environmental conservation, community involvement, and strengthening educational facilities.
