pendekatan Activity Based Cost (ABC) parsial, Gross Profit Margin (GPM), R/C ratio, dan value chain. Strawberry production at CV Bumi Agro Technology has continued to decline each year due to the ineffectiveness of conventional planting media and the high
incidence of root rot disease. This study designed a new planting medium composed of rice husk charcoal, cocopeat, and chicken manure using a prototype method based on the waterfall model. The effectiveness was tested through plant growth parameters, yield, and the emergence time of generative organs. Financial analysis was conducted using partial Activity Based Costing (ABC), Gross Profit Margin (GPM), R/C ratio, and value chain analysis. The results showed that the new planting media increased fruit yield by 40%, reduced production costs from Rp42,071 to
Rp31,406 per unit, and raised the R/C ratio to 1.1. The Gross Profit Margin (GPM) also improved significantly, indicating better efficiency and profitability. Therefore, this planting media is feasible to implement as a strategic solution for the sustainable development of the strawberry business.
