      Analisis Respirasi Tanah pada Tanaman Karet Klon RRIM600 dan Klon RRIT251 di Thailand Selatan saat Musim Hujan

      Abstract
      Perkebunan karet berpotensi mengeluarkan emisi CO2 yang merupakan gas rumah kaca. Penelitian mengenai fluks (emisi) CO2 antar perkebunan atau wilayah telah banyak dilakukan, namun perbandingan antar klon masih jarang dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan membandingkan fluks CO2 pada klon tanaman karet yang berbeda, serta untuk mengetahui kadar atau konsentrasi fluks CO2 pada tanaman karet yang diukur pada jarak yang berbeda dari tanaman karet. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Kelompok Lengkap Teracak (RKLT) dengan dua faktor yaitu klon (RRIM600 dan RRIT251) dan posisi collar (posisi dekat, sedang, dan jauh dari pohon karet) yang kemudian diuji menggunakan uji ANOVA dan uji lanjut (Tukey). Alat dan bahan yang digunakan yaitu trace gas analyzer, smart chamber, soil collar, stevens hydra probe, soil temperature, buku catatan, kamera, spidol, penggaris, papan dada, dan kertas data formulir. Hasil uji ANOVA dan uji lanjut (Tukey) menunjukkan bahwa klon yang berbeda dapat mempengaruhi nilai fluks CO2 di tanah, suhu tanah, dan kandungan air tanah yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai signifikansi kurang dari 0,05. Nilai fluks CO2 RRIM600 adalah 5,197 nmol m-2 s-1, sedangkan RRIT251 adalah 3,924 nmol m-2 s-1. RRIT251 memiliki fluks CO2 yang lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan RRIM600.
       
      Rubber plantations have the capability to emit CO2, a greenhouse gas. Many studies have examined CO2 flux (emissions) between plantations or regions, but comparisons between clones are rare. This study aims to determine and compare CO2 fluxes in different rubber plant clones, as well as to determine the levels or concentrations of CO2 fluxes in rubber plants measured at different distances from the rubber plants. This study used a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with two factors: clones (RRIM600 and RRIT251) and collar position (close, medium, and far from the rubber tree) which were then tested using ANOVA test and post hoc tests (Tukey). The tools and materials used were a trace gas analyzer, smart chamber, soil collar, stevens hydra probe, soil temperature, notebook, camera, marker, ruler, chest board, and data form paper. The results of the ANOVA test and post hoc tests (Tukey) showed that different clones can affect the value of CO2 flux in the soil, soil temperature, and soil water content, as indicated by a significance value less than of 0.05. The CO2 flux value of RRIM600 is 5,197 nmol m-2 s-1, while RRIT251 is 3,924 nmol m-2 s-1. RRIT251 has a lower CO2 flux compared to RRIM600.
