| dc.description.abstract | Spodoptera litura merupakan hama yang penting di Indonesia karena dapat
menyerang lebih dari 200 spesies tanaman inang. Pengendalian hama ulat grayak
yang umum dilakukan oleh petani adalah dengan menggunakan insektisida sintetik.
Namun aplikasi insektisida yang tidak tepat dapat memicu terjadinya resistensi.
Broflanilida merupakan jenis insektisida yang dapat digunakan dalam pengendalian
hama S. litura karena efektif dalam mengendalikan hama dari ordo Lepidoptera.
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh insektisida broflanilida terhadap laju
resistensi, sintasan dan reproduksi Spodoptera litura. Pengujian yang dilakukan
yaitu uji konfirmasi LC50 populasi awal (F1), induksi resistensi dan uji konfirmasi
LC50 populasi akhir (F5). Uji konfirmasi terhadap S. litura dilakukan menggunakan
metode celup daun dengan lima taraf konsentrasi dan mortalitas larva diamati pada
24, 48 dan 72 jam setelah perlakuan (JSP). Uji induksi resistensi dilakukan dengan
taraf konsentrasi setara LC50 selama tiga generasi berturut-turut. Hasil penelitian
menunjukkan LC50 populasi awal pada 24 jam setelah perlakuan (JSP) adalah 0,007
ppm sementara LC50 populasi akhir 0,010 ppm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan S.
litura terindikasi resisten terhadap broflanilida dengan nisbah resistensi 1,429.
Broflanilida memperkecil ukuran pupa 1,031 kali dan tidak memberikan pengaruh
terhadap lama perkembangan dan ukuran tubuh serangga serta memengaruhi ratarata jumlah peneluran imago betina. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Spodoptera litura is an important pest in Indonesia because it can attack over
200 host plant species. The common control strategy for this pest by farmers is by
using synthetic insecticide. However, improper application of insecticide can
trigger pest resistance. Broflanilide is a type of insecticide that can be used in
controlling S. litura because it is effective in controlling pests from the order
Lepidoptera. This study aimed to determine the effect of broflanilide insecticide on
the resistance rate, survival and reproduction of S. litura. The tests conducted were
LC50 confirmation assays for the initial population (F1), resistance induction, and
LC50 confirmation assays for the final population (F5). The confirmation test on S.
litura was conducted using the leaf dip method with five concentration levels and
larval mortality was observed at 24, 48, and 72 hours after treatment (HAT).
Resistance induction tests were conducted with concentration levels equivalent to
LC50 for three consecutive generations. The results showed that the LC50 of the
early population at 24 HAT was 0.007 ppm while the LC50 of the late population
was 0.010 ppm. The results showed that S. litura was indicated to be resistant to
broflanilide with a resistance ratio of 1.429. Broflanilide reduced pupa size by
around 1.031 times and did not affect the duration of development or overall body
size of the insect, but it influenced the average number of eggs laid by female adults. | |
