      Pengembangan dan Kelayakan Bisnis Pengolahan Es Krim dari Buah Melon Hidroponik PT Madefresh Indonesia

      Abstract
      Melon merupakan salah satu komoditas hortikultura yang dibudidayakan di PT Madefresh Indonesia, namun harga jualnya masih tergolong rendah, terutama untuk melon grade C yang hanya dipasarkan secara lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun perencanaan bisnis es krim melon dengan pendekatan Business Model Canvas (BMC) dan mengevaluasi kelayakan finansialnya. Strategi pengembangan dilakukan dengan membentuk unit bisnis baru berupa produk olahan es krim melon berbahan dasar melon grade C. Hasil analisis BMC menunjukkan manfaat bagi konsumen dan perusahaan. Berdasarkan perhitungan Break Even Point (BEP), usaha ini dinilai efisien karena hanya memerlukan penjualan sebesar 524 cup untuk mencapai titik impas, dan 1.142 cup untuk meraih laba sebesar Rp10.000.000. Secara finansial, usaha ini layak dijalankan dengan NPV sebesar Rp240.114.050, IRR sebesar 81%, Net B/C sebesar 4,17, Gross B/C sebesar 1,18, dan payback period selama 2 tahun 2 bulan 26 hari. Analisis switching value juga menunjukkan usaha ini mampu bertahan terhadap perubahan pasar.
       
      Melon is one of the horticultural commodities cultivated at PT Madefresh Indonesia, but its selling price is still relatively low, especially for grade C melons which are only marketed locally. This study aims to develop a business plan for melon ice cream with a Business Model Canvas (BMC) approach and evaluate its financial feasibility. The development strategy was carried out by forming a new business unit in the form of processed melon ice cream products made from grade C melons. The BMC analysis results show the benefits for consumers and companies. Based on the Break-Even Point (BEP) calculation, this business is considered efficient because it only requires sales of 524 cups to break even, and 1,142 cups to achieve a profit of Rp10,000,000. Financially, the business is feasible with an NPV of Rp240,114,050, IRR of 81%, Net B/C of 4.17, Gross B/C of 1.18, and payback period of 2 years 2 months 26 days. The switching value analysis also shows that the business is able to withstand market changes.
