      Abstract

This study examines the feasibility of establishing a milk soap processing business unit at Rian Puspita Jaya Farm as an effort to diversify products and address surplus milk supply. The analysis employs the Hayami value-added method and a comprehensive feasibility study, covering non-financial aspects such as market, production, organization, human resources, environment, legal, and collaboration. The financial aspect is analyzed using NPV, IRR, Net B/C, Gross B/C, Payback Period, profit and loss projections, and switching value analysis. The results show a Hayami value-added ratio of 85.94%. From the non-financial perspective, the business is supported by thorough planning. Financially, the project yields an NPV of IDR 125,902,784, an IRR of 48% (well above the 3% interest rate), a Gross B/C of 1.4, a Net B/C of 2.4, and a payback period of 1 year and 7 months (shorter than the business lifespan of 5 years), confirming its feasibility. The switching value analysis also indicates a tolerance for a production decrease of 22.77% and an input price increase of 85.67%. Therefore, the establishment of this cow milk soap processing business is considered feasible for implementation.
