      Desain dan Uji Kinerja Guide Vane Tipe Bilah Lengkung pada Pompa Aksial 6 Inci di Tambak Ekstensif Desa Gumeno, Kabupaten Gresik

      Abstract
      Kabupaten Gresik, khususnya Desa Gumeno, merupakan salah satu sentra budidaya ikan bandeng terbesar di Jawa Timur dengan sistem tambak ekstensif. Kebutuhan pompa aksial di wilayah ini sangat tinggi, namun efisiensi pompa masih menjadi kendala utama. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi kinerja pompa aksial dengan variasi bentuk guide vane tipe bilah lengkung untuk meningkatkan efisiensi sistem hidrolika tekanan rendah. Tiga variasi guide vane diuji, yaitu GV1 dan GV2 (bilah lengkung), serta GVS (bilah lurus sebagai acuan), melalui pemodelan 3D di SolidWorks, simulasi aliran menggunakan Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) di ANSYS, serta uji kinerja. Hasil menunjukkan GV1 memiliki kinerja terbaik dengan efisiensi pompa pada simulasi sebesar 63,6% pada laju aliran massa 46 kg/s dan head 0,9 m, serta efisiensi pompa tertinggi pada uji kinerja sebesar 18% dengan laju aliran massa 24,39 kg/s. GVS menunjukkan efisiensi pompa simulasi sebesar 62% dan efisiensi pompa uji kinerja 17%, sedangkan GV2 mencatat efisiensi pompa simulasi terendah sebesar 46% dan efisiensi pompa uji kinerja hanya 9%. Head simulasi tertinggi dicapai GV2 sebesar 2,18 m, menunjukkan bahwa kelengkungan bilah guide vane dapat meningkatkan batas head. GV1 juga mencatat konsumsi bahan bakar terendah, khususnya pada kecepatan 1400 rpm. Berdasarkan kriteria perancangan, GV1 dengan sudut kelengkungan a0 = 30° merupakan desain yang optimal untuk diterapkan di tambak ekstensif Desa Gumeno.
       
      Gresik Regency, particularly Gumeno Village, serves as one of the largest centers for milkfish aquaculture in East Java, utilizing an extensive pond cultivation system. The demand for axial pumps in this region is high, yet pump efficiency remains a major challenge. This study aims to evaluate the performance of an axial flow pump with variations in guide vane blade shapes, specifically curved blades, to improve the efficiency of low-pressure hydraulic systems. Three guide vane variations are tested, GV1 and GV2 (curved blades), and GVS (a straight blade used as a reference), through 3D modeling in SolidWorks, flow simulation using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) in ANSYS, and performance testing. The results show that GV1 delivers the best performance, with a simulated pump efficiency of 63,6% at a mass flow rate of 46 kg/s and a head of 0,9 meters, as well as the highest measured efficiency of 18% with a mass flow rate of 24,39 kg/s. GVS records a simulated pump efficiency of 62% and a measured efficiency of 17%, while GV2 shows the lowest simulated pump efficiency of 46% and a measured efficiency of only 9%. The highest simulated head is achieved by GV2 at 2,18 meters, indicating that blade curvature can increase the head limit. GV1 also records the lowest fuel consumption, particularly at a speed of 1400 rpm. Based on design criteria, GV1 with a curvature angle a0 = 30° is considered the optimal design for implementation in the extensive ponds of Gumeno Village.
