      Abstract

Cow dung is a very large amount of livestock waste because cows can produce around 12% of their body weight every day, so it needs to be utilized. One form of utilization that can be done is processed into solid organic fertilizer through a decomposition process involving the activity of microorganisms. This study aims to test the quality of solid organic fertilizer from cow dung waste that has been added with a decomposer in the form of Provibio. Provibio is a biological fertilizer that contains nine types of beneficial microorganisms that play a role in increasing plant productivity and soil fertility. This experiment used two types of cow dung, namely without treatment and treatment with the addition of decomposers. The results of the study showed that fertilizers that were given additional decomposers generally met the regulatory standards of the Minister of Agriculture Regulation No. 1 of 2019 and had advantages such as a low C/N ratio, lower water and by-product content, and higher levels of macro and micro nutrients (C-organic, N, P, K, and Zn).
