      Abstract

Leucophyllum frutescens is a high-demand ornamental plant at Hara Nursery, yet propagation through cuttings remains low due to uniform cultivation practices that do not match the plant's specific characteristics. This study aimed to evaluate propagation effectiveness, productivity improvement, and the financial feasibility of cultivation. A one-proportion Z-test showed a cutting success rate of 64%, indicating a significant 14% increase compared to the company’s 50% standard. Productivity rose by 31.25%, supported by a two-sample T-test with a p- value of 0.00039. Financially, revenue increased from IDR 144 million to IDR 375 million, net profit rose from IDR 52.5 million to IDR 204.3 million, the R/C Ratio improved from 1.6 to 2.3, and ROI increased from 74.1% to 213.2%. These results demonstrate that cultivation practices tailored to the plant’s physiological needs can enhance propagation success, productivity, and the economic viability of Leucophyllum frutescens cultivation.
