karakteristik plankton. Penelitian ini dilakukan dari bulan September 2024 sampai
Februari 2025 di perairan Situ Gede, Kota Bogor. Parameter yang diamati meliputi
suhu, kekeruhan, kecerahan, total padatan terlarut, pH, oksigen terlarut, total fosfat,
Situ Gede Waters has both ecological and economic potential that can be
utilized. However, anthropogenic activities around the lake (such as household
waste and tourist activities) have led to a decline in water quality. This study aims
to analyze the water status condition of Situ Gede, Bogor City, based on physico
chemical water parameters and their relation to plankton characteristics. The
research was conducted from September 2024 to February 2025 in the waters of
Situ Gede, Bogor City. The observed parameters included temperature, turbidity,
transparency, total dissolved solids, pH, dissolved oxygen, total phosphate,
ammonia, nitrate, and nitrite (physico-chemical parameters), as well as plankton
characteristics (biological parameters). The analysis for determining water quality
status used the Pollution Index, Saprobic Index, Community Index, Pearson
correlation test, and simple linear regression test. The results showed that the
Pollution Index and Saprobic Index were classified as lightly polluted. The
composition of phytoplankton and zooplankton species found consisted of 4 classes
each, with the most dominant classes being Chlorophyceae and Eurotatoria,
respectively. Statistical tests showed that total phosphate and nitrite had a
significant relationship (p<0.05) with phytoplankton abundance, with a very strong
level of correlation. Meanwhile, statistical tests showed no significant relationship
with zooplankton abundance.
