      Profil Metabolit Minyak Asiri Daun Cymbopogon nardus dan Cymbopogon citratus Menggunakan GC-MS dengan Metode Ekstraksi Berbeda

      Abstract
      Serai wangi (Cymbopogon nardus) dan serai dapur (Cymbopogon citratus) adalah tanaman yang banyak dimanfaatkan untuk aromaterapi, obat, atau bumbu masakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan memprofilkan dan mengkomparasi komposisi metabolit di dalam minyak asiri serai wangi dan serai dapur menggunakan instrumen GC-MS. Hasil analisis GC-MS diolah menggunakan MS-DIAL dan analisis multivariat menggunakan analisis komponen utama (PCA) untuk melihat pola pengelompokan antarmetode ekstraksi. Ekstraksi dilakukan melalui tiga metode ekstraksi, yaitu distilasi uap, maserasi etanol, dan maserasi etil asetat. Hasilnya sebanyak 82 senyawa teranotasi dalam serai wangi dan 96 senyawa dalam serai dapur. PCA menunjukkan terkelompoknya masing-masing senyawa berdasarkan metode ekstraksi. Geraniol menjadi senyawa mayor yang terkandung dalam serai wangi, sedangkan geranial pada serai dapur. Penelitian ini berhasil mendapatkan profil dan mengkomparasi metabolit dalam tanaman serai wangi dan serai dapur berdasarkan perbedaan metode ekstraksi.
       
      Citronella (Cymbopogon nardus) and lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus) are plants widely used in aromatherapy, medicine, and cooking. This study aims to profile and compare the metabolite composition in their essential oils using GC-MS analysis. The GC-MS data were processed with MS-DIAL, and the patterns of grouping between extraction methods were analyzed using principal component analysis (PCA). The extraction methods used were steam distillation, ethanol maceration, and ethyl acetate maceration. The results showed 82 compounds were identified in citronella and 96 compounds in lemongrass. PCA showed that the compounds were grouped based on the extraction method. Geraniol was the main compound in citronella, while geranial was the main compound in lemongrass. The research successfully profiled and compared the metabolites in citronella and lemongrass based on different extraction methods.
