PT Yudhistira Ghalia Indonesia merupakan salah satu industri percetakan yang berfokus pada penerbitan buku pendidikan. Namun, dalam operasionalnya, perusahaan kerap menghadapi kendala berupa tingginya tingkat downtime yang berdampak signifikan terhadap nilai Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Salah satu mesin utama yang digunakan adalah KBA 214, yang pada tahun 2024 hanya mencatatkan nilai OEE sebesar 11,79%. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, dilakukan pendekatan Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) guna mendukung efektivitas perawatan mesin, melalui implementasi prinsip 5S, sistem manajemen perawatan fasilitas, delapan pilar TPM, reliability maintenance, serta pengukuran OEE secara terstruktur. Untuk memperkuat penerapan TPM, digunakan berbagai tools pendukung seperti aplikasi maintenance berbasis digital, dashboard monitoring, A3 Report, checksheet 5S, serta poster 5S dan APD. Dengan strategi ini, diharapkan nilai OEE mesin KBA 214 dapat meningkat secara bertahap hingga, serta dapat dijadikan sebagai studi kasus percontohan untuk peningkatan performa mesin lainnya di lingkungan perusahaan. | |

PT Yudhistira Ghalia Indonesia is a printing company focused on publishing educational books. However, in its operations, the company often faces challenges, particularly high downtime rates, which significantly impact the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). One of the main machines used is the KBA 214, which recorded an OEE value of only 11.79% in 2024. To address this issue, a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) approach has been implemented to support effective machine maintenance through the application of 5S principles, facility maintenance management systems, the eight pillars of TPM, reliability maintenance, and structured OEE measurement. To strengthen TPM implementation, various supporting tools are utilized, such as a digital-based maintenance applicati, monitoring dashboard, A3 Report, 5S checksheet, and 5S and APD posters. With this strategy, the OEE value of the KBA 214 machine is expected to gradually improve and serve as a case study example for enhancing the performance of other machines within the company. | |
