Trends during the pandemic have persisted even after the pandemic. The cat population has continued to grow post-pandemic. Cat owners have returned to their previous activities, and this situation has influenced their post-pandemic cat care practices. Aim of this study is to describe the correlation between viral infections and cat care practices post-COVID-19 pandemic. This study utilized medical records of cat patients who visited Citrapet and Vet with viral diagnoses, as well as 100 cat owner respondents using a structured questionnaire. Viral infection cases at Citrapet and Vet fell into the small category, totaling 179 cases out of 5,343 cats, representing 0.033%. The cause of these viral infection cases, which fall into the small category, is the cat care practices carried out by cat owners at Citrapet and Vet. The parameters used as references include: vaccination, care practices, administration of antiparasitic drugs, and medical checkups. Respondents' results indicate that nearly all cat owners at Citrapet and Vet understand how to properly perform cat care practices. Statistical calculations using the chi-square test show a correlation between viral infection incidents and cat care practices.
