      Abstract

Vitamins are a type of feed supplement that can be added to rations and are useful for completing and meeting nutritional needs. The vitamins used at CV Global Buwana Farm are Kumavit® and TM-Vita®. Kumavit® has a main content of curcumin extract which acts as an antioxidant. TM-Vita® contains vitamins A and B complex which function in metabolic activities, maintaining and increasing egg production. The purpose of this study was to compare the results of providing feed supplements in the form of vitamins with curcumin extract and without curcumin extract on the productivity and performance of lohman brown chickens at CV Global Buwana Farm. The study was conducted from August 5 to November 5 at CV Global Buwana Farm using 8 lohman brown chickens aged 24 weeks with an average body weight of 1.7 kg with the treatment of Kumavit® (P1) and TM-vita® (P2) vitamins as well as a negative control (P3). The results showed a significant difference (P<0.05) in total egg production and egg weight between P1 and P2 with P3. Parameters such as feed intake, feed conversion ratio, hen day production, body weight, egg color in P1 and P2 have higher values than P3.
