      Abstract

Chronic kidney disease in cats is a progressive, incurable condition characterized by a decline in the kidneys’ ability to eliminate metabolic waste. Due to its irreversible nature, the management of CKD focuses on symptom control and improving quality of life. This study involved two cats with similar blood abnormalities. Both cats underwent approximately one week of inpatient treatment to monitor their progress. Supplements such as Ipakitine®, Renal P®, Azodyl®, and Ketosteril® were used as supportive therapy to slow disease progression. The results showed that the use of these supplements helped restore normal blood values in both cats. In addition to supplements, nutritional management is also essential to prevent further deterioration of the cats’ condition.
